Simply Red’s frontman, Mick Hucknall, is 65 this week. Sadly, in recent years, it’s become fashionable for people to hate and malign him and sometimes with good reason as he doesn’t always seem to treat his fans with the respect they deserve. But, it’s his voice and the music I concentrate on in this website and this is one of my favourite Simply Red songs.
