Hailing from Brooklyn, New York he joined Blondie as their keyboard player in 1975 and was there until the band broke up in 1982. When they reformed in 1997, Jimmy was there and, in one way, was at his most successful, because, despite having co-written the hits Picture This and Atomic, he solely wrote their comeback hit Maria in 1999, let’s remember than song from……wait for it, 25 years ago.
