May 4th is not only Star Wars day, it’s also National 45 days in the States. It’s an annual tribute to the classic vinyl format that millions bought and how they consumed their music from the late 1950s until the mid 1990s. it was called the 45 because that was the speed, 45 PRM (revolutions per minute) it spun on the turntable. This day aims to promote record sales and stores.
