John Lodge

John Lodge, the bass guitarist with the Moody Blues is 75 today.

Born in Birmingham, he joined the Moody Blues in 1966 replacing the original bassist Clint Warwick and later wrote, or co-wrote a number of songs for the band inclufing their 1972, number 13 hit Isn’t Life Strange.

In 1975 he and Moodies lead singer, Justin Hayward, had a one-off hit single collaboration with the song Blue Guitar which reached number eight and we shall remember now.
