Hoddesdon Alternate WEDNESDAYS - The Galley Hall, Hailey near Hoddesdon The Hoddesdon Quiz began in April 2001 and it ran for exactly 4 years at the Rye House. When the lazy landlord and lady failed to promote the quiz we moved to The Golden Lion in Hoddesdon High Street. Seven months later we moved to the Galley Hall in Hailey Lane, where the quiz is now fortnightly and extremely well attended.
