WEDNESDAYS – Hertford Heath @ The Silver Fox , London Road, Hertford Heath, SG13 7RH
Thanks to a enthusiastic area manager, we started at The Rye House and was there for four years. We then moved to The Galley Hall and was a great night when Dawn ran the pub. After she left and Debbie took over, it lost a bit of atmosphere but the quiz held up and we got up to 21 teams. The 'boss' suddenly became more interested in making money on food than having a great quiz atmosphere, so I decided to move to the Silver Fox just up the road. The landlady is keen and wants to do the quiz weekly, so we are there from July 9th. The quiz stars at 9pm and is £1.20 per person to enter. The opening jackpot will be £120. If you’re looking for a mid-week fun night out, this is the place to come. Arrive early to get a seat especially if you are eating.
The Thursday night's have been extremely well attended in the 8 years it’s been running. This is a superbly fun night for everyone and has a jackpot which currently stands at £120. Get in early to get a table. I have a weekly prediction pot and if I’m right, the team I predict can win up to £50. If not you can still win a drinks voucher. Come along to find out what that’s all about. The proceedings commence at 9.00pm and costs just £1 per person to enter. It’s the best Thursday night fun you’ll have anywhere.
